Abel’s Legacy in Action
Hope & Joy in Tanzania
From Seeking Safety to Singing for Joy
"But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you."
— Psalm 5:11
In rural Tanzania, over 100 young women made the courageous decision to flee their home village to escape female genital mutilation (FGM). Seeking safety and a fresh start, they found shelter at a local refuge home dedicated to protecting and restoring vulnerable young lives.
Safe under protective care, they were given the opportunity to learn how to read and write. As literacy unlocked their world, a profound desire emerged from their hearts: they wanted to read the Word of God for themselves.
The Abel Foundation stepped in to provide each of these 100+ women with a personal Bible in their own native language. Today, they are not only safe and literate—they are rooted in Scripture, praising God for their freedom, and discovering their true worth in Christ. Where there was once fear, their voices now rise together in powerful songs of worship and thanksgiving.
Disaster Relief & Hope in Haiti
Rebuilding Homes, Restoring Hope, and Delivering Direct Aid
"If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday. And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail."
— Isaiah 58:10–11
When devastating earthquakes damaged homes, collapsed local churches, and fractured communities across Haiti, families were left without reliable shelter or basic sustenance.
In response, we mobilized on-the-ground relief to meet immediate needs and help rebuild what was broken:
Direct Food Assistance: Sourcing and delivering staple goods—including sacks of rice, cooking oil, and essential pantry provisions—directly into the hands of families, mothers, and the elderly.
Reconstruction & Shelter: Providing lumber, essential tools, and repair materials so community members could mend roofs, restore, and reinforce fragile structures,
Personal, Community-Centered Delivery: Working shoulder to shoulder with local leaders to distribute supplies directly to neighborhood doorsteps, ensuring every dollar provided real comfort, dignity, and tangible care.
